Bet3000 review

Bet3000 stands firm at Stakersland and you’ll find them holed up in their rebel stronghold located up at Bavarian Heights.

The rebel leader, Simon Springer, continues to try and reinvent the sports betting concept which, as history shows, does not always go to plan. It’s predominantly a German-speaking community with 315K in total with some French and Iraqi stakers amongst the standout groups also venturing up to the Bet3000 doors. It says a lot about the unusual setup and spirit of the superintendent but as we said, Springer likes to break free from the typical bookmaker mould in both betting and business terms. Moving on to the major sports and we have football with the Bundesliga fixtures taking the majority of the betting action, followed by major international and European events such as the UEFA Europa League. Handball, Tennis, and Basketball all attract interest with a special winter focus on DEL, the German professional ice hockey league. Only recently have we noticed the introduction of the esports markets at Bet3000 with some top tournaments on games like Overwatch, League of Legends, Counter Strike, Dota 2, King of Glory, Rainbow Six, Starcraft, NBA2k, and Rocket League. All those markets clearly show that this is something that they are going all in with, in the hope that they can attract the growing esports crowds from Germany and further afield.

According to the payout section at Bet3000, the betting rules state that the winning limit for each staker is capped at €250,000 per bet (and for those who had any doubts, it is duplicated and written as two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand as well, got it?). The winning limit for each staker per week is €250,000 – and if you still have more doubts with understanding the limits those are repeated and written out as two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand yet again, they want you to be sure of these limits! It looks as though they know the game well enough as they do state the following – “If it turns out that a user has opened several accounts and has placed the same bet on them contrary to the General Terms and Conditions, the winning limit applies to the total of the winnings gained from these bets”. So, its €250,000 once per week and for all of your accounts. Its final. Period. Strangely, when it comes to the casino section the limits are tougher but defined in more of a relaxed matter – the “payout limit per user and week (00:00 CEST on Monday until 24:00 on Sunday) is €150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand euros)”.

According to our own science experts with their payout calculators in hand, it has been calculated that it would take Springer two days without profit to payout those two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand Euros, while the casino maximum limit of ‘one hundred and fifty thousand Euros‘ would need only 24 hours. All in all, we know that Bet3000 is a well established operator with more than 40 years in the business. Springer himself is a very particular person and he is known to be living his life in Spain on the fortunes he has made. With all that in mind, it is more than likely that your bet will be paid within 24-48 hours, though do remember that two-hundred-and-fifty thousand per month is the maximum. It’s hard to forget considering the number of times they mention it!

It is unusual for the land of Stakers to see Iraqis waiting in the queues and so we definitely welcome our new friends to the park. However, a lot of doubts do arise from this when it comes to regulation and international compliance standards.

THE GERMAN STAKER COMMUNITY ARE SPENDING ON BETWEEN €30-35 PER MONTH ON THE TOP BUNDESLIGA MARKETS. A TOTAL OF €60M IN GROSS GAMING REVENUE IS BEING GENERATED EACH YEAR FOR THE REBEL LEADER SIMON SPRINGER WHO IS TAKING ROUGHLY €5 MILLION IN DIVIDENDS.

It’s estimated that Bet3000 are currently taking in around 5 Million € per month in gross gaming revenue with an average spend of 30-35 €, but this can fluctuate depending on the season. Therefore, during the betting season, big boss Springer can bring in around 60M € per annum with the profits before taxation estimated at roughly €7-8 million. Dividends are rounded to €5 million per year which brings the overall value to around €420,000 per month. Now, considering the four Tipico owners generated close to the €1 billion mark from the sale to the CVC Group, it certainly leaves those comments made by Springer of being Germany’s king of gaming questionable. Bet at Home is the closest rival to Bet3000 in terms of size and their annual gross gaming revenue is currently calculated at €143 million. Taking into account all their operations, they currently turnover a profit of €18 million, or €1.5 per month, which is almost three times the size of Springer’s Bet3000. Interwetten is another up and coming rival with a growing reputation amongst the German-speaking stakers here in the park. Over €2 billion in betting volume was tracked in 2019 which was the company’s highest in their 30-year history. From this they earn around €99.5 million in gross gaming revenue, but due to their extensive operational costs this ends up at the €32 million mark, and so after all the expenses and taxes are paid then those end profits are left at a much smaller amount of €1 million.
